J. Robert Motoshige
J. Robert Motoshige founded Community Improvement Capital to provide specialized private credit for court-supervised and asset-backed real estate situations.
His experience spans more than three decades across capital markets and institutional investing. At Morgan Stanley, his work included fixed income trading and structured products. At PAAMCO, he worked in institutional alternative investments and portfolio management. He later founded CIC to apply that institutional investment discipline to specialized asset-backed private credit in court-supervised and other complex situations.
He holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stanford University. He is fluent in Spanish and Japanese.
CIC has completed dozens of court-supervised financings. All completed transactions have culminated in full repayment of principal and interest, with zero defaults.
